Name: | John Proudstar |
---|---|
Birthdate: | Jul 27 |
Location: | Mutant Underground HQ, Georgia, United States |
John Proudstar is an adult man, born of the Apache people. He stands at 5'11" (180cm) and has the heavy build of a wrestler or mixed martial artist. He is a mutant whose gifts manifest as super human strength (enough to rip a steel door off its hinges), reflexes (he can catch debris from a nearby explosion), and resilience (bullets and shrapnel can not harm him), as well as heightened senses which occasionally give him a measure of clairvoyance or foresight. He has black hair and brown, almost hazel eyes, and a tattoo of a pair of arrows on the underside of his right bicep.
He is an ex-Marine, having served two tours in Afghanistan, and now serves as a leader in the Mutant Underground, attempting to get mutants to safe places where they might live in peace and out of reach from Sentinel Services.
John Proudstar / Thunderbird is from Fox's The Gifted and is the property of Fox and Marvel Entertainment. They appear here solely for the purpose of role-playing in
milliways_bar, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.

Canon Note: The Gifted seems to be its own reality, separate from other live action X-Men franchises. Given the few details of the past we are given, I am assuming it exists somewhere between the original X-Men movie trilogy and the final Wolverine film, Logan, or near enough to it for now. The X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants existed, but they are no longer active and no one knows what happened. John does have a direct connection to the X-men, seeing as how they chose him to lead the Mutant Underground, but he's either keeping quiet or doesn't know what happened to them either. There was also a Hellfire organization/club, but that as well seems to have disappeared...for now.
